Google announced a new search feature called Google Instant that show quick results as you type. Google Instant will likely become increasingly important to search marketing, because not only will it roll out to more countries, but it will soon come to mobile and browser search boxes. Each of these factors will greatly increase how often Instant results are displayed.

How will Google Instant Effect Search Engine Optimization? Many SEO executives fear that Google Instant favors big business thus hindering search optimization practices for small businesses online.

The mobile factor actually has implications for Google retaining a substantial amount of mobile searches in general. The quicker Google can give results on any kind of query, the less reason users have to go to different apps to acquire certain information.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElubRNRIUg4

Google clearly said that ranking stays the same with Google Instant, but it will change the way people search. It will affect their search behavior, and that is what search marketers are going to have to think about more than ever. You should also consider that some people will simply deactivate the feature, leaving them open to Google’s standard results.

Many search engine marketing specialists seem to get complacent optimizing their website only for Google. Search engine optimization is an ever-changing process, so it is imperative to stay up to speed on search engine marketing practices. This week Yahoo! started featuring Bing results in their paid and organic search results. Sure Google maintains 66% of the search market-share, but do they carry that market-share for your industry. If you are a finance company, does the search market-share for video games really matter? Yahoo and Bing combine for 30% of the search engine market-share and that will likely increase as their partnership settles in. In regards to SEO, both Google and Bing are prioritizing content more than ever. Most search engine optimizers have figured out that linking campaigns are just as critical for maximizing search engine rankings.

With Microsoft’s ability to invest in talent and Yahoo’s ability to market, I wouldn’t bet against their new partnership. Consumers like Yahoo’s look and feel and Bing has created a formidable search engine to compete with Google. That’s not to say that Google won’t continue to produce a great search engine, but they will likely lose some search market-share in the next few years. That’s why SEO specialists should stop overlooking the Google alternatives. Search engine optimizing strategies should continue to promote “white-hat” SEO that is built on compelling content that is consumer-driven. The Yahoo and MicroSoft merger is good for search because it will surely increase the competitiveness between Google and Yahoo that will only improve the search engines going forward.

Nationwide Marketing is a search engine marketing company that understands the SEO fundamentals for Bing, Google and Yahoo, so you are in good hands developing a long term strategy with our search team.

Microsoft last July agreed to power Yahoo’s search engine and pay the company 88% of traffic acquisitions costs for the first five years of a 10-year deal. Yahoo would provide the worldwide sales force for both companies’ search advertisers. Google commands a 66% search share in the U.S. Microsoft and Yahoo together would hold about 30%.

According to a new report from ComScore, Google saw its share of the U.S. search market fall to 62.6% in June, down from 63.7% in May. This is the 4th month in a row that Google has lost market-share as the Search Icon fell nearly 3% since reaching 65.5% share in February.

Yahoo Search! continued to rebound, reaching 18.9% share, up from 18.3% in May; the search engine company’s share is up from 16.8% in February.

Bing had 12.7% of the market in June, up from 12.1% in May; the company has increased its share of the market in each of the last 13 months, up from 8.4% in June 2009.

Among the also-rans, AOL (AOL) had 2.2% of the market, down from 2.3% in May, and 3.1% a year ago; Ask.com (IACI) had 3.6% share, flat with May, and down from 3.9% a year ago.

According to San Diego search engine optimization company Nationwide Marketing, consumers are more open to searching with Yahoo and Bing. People are always looking for something different and both search engine companies offer consumers a different type of search experience. The Nationwide spokesman said, “It’s not necessarily that consumers are migrating from Google because Yahoo and Bing are better — just different.” See Smart Search Strategies Article > Google Loses Search Market Share to Yahoo and Bing

Small business internet marketing continues to be centered on search engine marketing. Organic search engine optimization, paid search and email marketing all play important roles in marketing online. By now most marketers understand that businesses are being limited if customers and prospects can’t find your website when searching online. Search engine optimization help people find your website, through search inquiries on the major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. However, the Internet is a saturated place and getting your website ranked high on the search engine results is an art and a fundamental process.

2010 is a great year for internet marketing because there are SEO companies like Nationwide Marketing and SEO tools are available to small businesses that want to improve their rankings online for relevant search terms and keywords. Search engine optimization is an internet marketing technique that makes it possible for your website to get indexed, crawled and listed on the public search engines located on the World Wide Web.

Optimizing your website for local search is important for many businesses. Nationwide Marketing believes it is important to use good search engine optimization practices to maximize the internet globally and locally. Search Engine Optimization is a process of perfecting your website so that search engines will rank your website high in the search engine indexes. With millions of websites competing for top page results on the search engines, SEO has become a crucial step for internet marketing. Organic search engine optimization is the process of optimizing a website for natural search engine results rather than paid search results.

Follow the SEO tips below for optimizing on the local level. We will help you uncover where your website is ranked for the appropriate keywords. Utilizing PPC advertising is one way to get your website traffic quickly while you wait for the organic and local search optimization to kick in.

Keyword Analysis- Keywords are a critical part of search engine optimization and for local search keywords may be even more important. It is imperative that your website contain keywords that people are searching and the meta-tags should reflect the actual keywords for each specific page. We offer a keyword analysis in an effort to maximize all of the keyword opportunities. For local search optimization you will need to integrate city, county and regional phrases that are most relevant for your business.

When using keywords, think about what will be most helpful and useful to users of your website. Using too many keywords is not good SEO, as the search engines may consider it as spam. Keywords should flow naturally in the paragraphs. Nationwide Marketing has a team of copywriters that will conduct a keyword analysis looking for specific opportunities to enhance the search engine optimization of your website. Good SEO highlights keywords into compelling content.

Finding the best SEO company for your business can be a process. Years ago, small business internet marketing was easier. In fact getting ranked high on the search engine was not even that difficult.
You need to find a SEO specialist who has a solid track record from trusted sources.

In a recent article, Submit Express discusses some of the new changes happening in the search engine industry. They talked about three key areas of search engine optimization that must be addressed in order for SEO campaigns to be successful. The 1st key component is “On-Site Factors”, which takes into account how “search engine friendly” a site’s overall structure is. This involves many site architecture factors including how easily the site can be indexed, if it uses Flash vs. HTML and if shopping carts are search-engine friendly.

The second important factor of SEO is website content. They note how important it is to have compelling content on the website that makes an impact. This means having a proper keyword density along with making sure that the keywords are also used in titles and meta tags. It’s also important to have the right keywords highlighted: striking a balance of keywords in different competitive ranges will allow you to see short-term and long-term SEO growth.

The third key component of SEM is link building. They stress how important having both in-bound and out-bound links adds strength to your site in the eyes of search engines — it gives your site credibility and respect. However, this doesn’t mean that you should concentrate on just having the highest number of links possible! It’s critical to think about the quality of your links as well. In many cases, one high-level link can be more effective than several lower-level links.

There are several new factors that are changing the SEO industry and none are more important than social media. Every day, millions of people communicate with social media tools like Facebook and Twitter. Reaching these people can be a critical component of any online marketing campaign. However, any social media strategy needs to be more sophisticated than creating a FaceBook or Twitter page and posting your company’s latest specials. Ideally, social media and SEO search engine marketing campaigns can be effective together while strengthening each other. A high-quality social media campaign that is interactive and engages audiences can increase in-bound links and improve search engine rankings. At the same time, applying smart SEO practices to social media content will increase the reach and visibility of your social media outreach. Read the original article online at http://www.submitexpress.com/

Nationwide Marketing is pleased to announce another partnership with the Lead Planet. The mortgage marketing groups will expand their services to include mortgage SEO, mortgage marketing and web development for finance driven sales organizations. The agreement would offer enhanced mortgage marketing services for their clients in addition to the mortgage lead generation campaigns they were already running. The Lead Planet is best known for producing quality internet mortgage leads for banks, lenders and mortgage brokers nationwide.

The Lead Planet connects consumers with finance professionals seamlessly online and the company shares many internet marketing convictions as Nationwide. Both companies have centered their online marketing technologies around organic search engine optimization, so the partnership makes sense philosophically.
